Premise Negligence

Premise Negligence entails some type of negligent situation on an individual’s property which causes injury to another. The injured individual is then entitled to sue the negligent individual for the damages obtained as a result of this negligence. These damages could include reimbursement for injuries, pain and suffering, reimbursement for medical expenses, loss of enjoyment of life, loss of the services of a spouse, loss of income, disfigurement, and embarrassment and humiliation. In Pennsylvania, there is a duty to make one’s property safe for business invitees and a duty to warn of any known dangers in order to make one’s property safe for guests.
